NICFI Flooring Inspectors

The Weinheimer Group LLC is a member of The National Institute of Certified Floor-Covering Inspectors (NICFI). The NICFI is a non-profit association of independent wood floor, floor covering, carpet and specialty flooring inspectors. NICFI members are expert flooring failure analyst and expert witnesses in flooring problems and failures. NICFI members attend an annual NICFI Convention, to increase their knowledge and update their skills. The Annual Convention includes updates on indicative field testing procedures, tools, products and product defects. The NICFI is the only Non-Profit Association in the Flooring Industry with membership comprised solely of Certified Floor Covering Inspectors.
WFCA Floor Association

The Weinheimer Group is a member of the World Floor Covering Association. The WFCA provides its floor covering retail, flooring installer, floor inspector and industry partners leadership and resources that will raise the level of professionalism, increase industry profitability and enhance consumer satisfaction. The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) provides an unbiased source of information. The WFCA and its 3,000-strong retailer membership are dedicated to providing consumers the information, service and support needed to ensure a successful floor covering purchase experience.
CFI Floor Installers

Terry Weinheimer and Kevin Weinheimer are Inspector/Tech Members of the International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association (CFI) and have obtained the Installation for the Inspector designation. The Certified Floorcovering Installers Association is an organization of flooring professionals whose purpose is to identify, train and certify flooring installers according to skill and knowledge and to provide the Industry with educational programs that enhance the ultimate goal of customer satisfaction.
NWFA Wood Inspectors

Terry Weinheimer is an NWFA Certified Professional Wood Flooring Inspector. Wood flooring professionals who attain Certified Professional status with the NWFA are committed to keeping their skills and knowledge at peak performance, and are recognized experts within the wood flooring industry. National Wood Flooring Association inspectors undergo rigourous exams to determine their knowledge, understanding, and competency in five core areas: substrates; wood floor maintenance; wood flooring problems, causes and cures for wood flooring problems, defects and failures; installation, sand and finish of wood floors; and inspection performance and reporting. Upon successful completion of all five exams and the review and approval of five inspections by the NWFA Certified Professionals Panel the NWFA Inspector Certification is awarded. To maintain the NWFA Inspector Certification an inspector must participate in continuing educational programs of the wood flooring industry.
