Terry Weinheimer is an NWFA Certified Professional Wood Flooring Inspector. Wood flooring professionals who attain Certified Professional status with the NWFA are committed to keeping their skills and knowledge at peak performance, and are recognized experts within the wood flooring industry. National Wood Flooring Association inspectors undergo rigourous exams to determine their knowledge, understanding, and competency in five core areas: substrates; wood floor maintenance; wood flooring problems, causes and cures for wood flooring problems, defects and failures; installation, sand and finish of wood floors; and inspection performance and reporting. Upon successful completion of all five exams and the review and approval of five inspections by the NWFA Certified Professionals Panel the NWFA Inspector Certification is awarded. To maintain the NWFA Inspector Certification an inspector must participate in continuing educational programs of the wood flooring industry.
